Embracing Me

The pandemic did it. Since March 2020, I gained 7 pounds. Honestly, I started freaking out. Prior to Christmas, my 2021 resolutions were to become vegan/pescatarian. Give me time, I CANNOT give up sea food, and some fresh water fish etc. Nonetheless, I finally reached 219. My goal, 200 or less by the end of this year. Pray for me.
220 pounds now, age 59 and continuously thanking God for the WILL POWER to maintain a very healthy lifestyle.
I am in love with my new ME.
I love my transformation.
Exercise your right!
If my smile make you smile, then I’m really happy.
Be BEAUTIFUL at home!
I’d surely love to show off my lovely new look, but being safe is what matters.
Slowly but surely making every effort to reach my weight loss goal. But dammit this COVID 19 lock down is forcing me to eat more veggies to avoid repacking on pounds. Pray!
58 and as sweet as I want to be.
Embracing Me has truly shed new light on my life. I have learned another thing about my body…heavy seasonings with lots of sodium makes me retain water weight. I’m preparing my meals with individual seasonings instead of season all. Please look at the sodium content of all food products.
If it’s over 140 mg of sodium, don’t eat it. Don’t cook with it!
13 more pounds to reach 200 pounds of pleasingly plumpness. I thought 53 more pounds, but changed my mind. Nowadays, most men want a little meat on your bones…LOL
388 in the beginning – 175 lost in 5 years = 213 pounds as of March 2020.
Nothing is wrong with feeling sexy, and age 58 makes no difference.
157.1 pounds gone, not bad after 2 months of no weight loss.
Don’t be discouraged, a plateau will happen.
I have reached a plateau!
Know that you are beautiful and care less about what other’s may think.
Study your body, educate yourself about its responses to foods, beverages, fitness etc.
When you doodle, eat healthy snacks.
30 minutes a day, that’s all it takes. But I choose 2-3 hours, if time permits.

WEIGHT LOSS…it takes will power!
This is what I did and continue to do, even at age 57.
If it works for me, it will work for you.

Tonnette Collier, M.Ed.
December 23, 2018
I never look to man for validation. I VALIDATE me.
Juggle it all, I’m earning my doctorate, teach all grade levels, exercise and eat healthy.
Beauty is what YOU make of it!
Do what you must do. I am med-free, really fit and the best cook.

Love yourself more, that’s what I did and still do.
Capturing my beauty, I dote on myself daily. That’s what single ladies must do.
The day I was able to put on my seat belt without excessive pulling of the straps,
I was elated.
Then my face started changing size, and did I get scores of double takes.
Treated myself to Pensacola Beach. I wasn’t brave enough to wear a bathing suit.
The transformation of Tonnette Collier never looked so good.
Here’s when EMBRACING ME started getting easier and easier.
When others noticed my weight loss, I started feeling SEXY.
I began seeing results in 2016. Reached many plateaus, but continued to transform.
Then I joined Weight Watchers, months later Shaq Fitness (now 24 Hour Fitness).
First I stopped eating fast foods, then drinking sugary drinks.
In 2015, God heard my cries and blessed me with WILLPOWER.
Many people thought I was gorgeous. I did not. Actually, I was miserable and unhappy.
7 years ago, I was nearly 400 pounds.
